Jefferies said: "We thought getting seven points from the opening three fixtures would be a great start for us, and that's exactly what we got."
Speaking about the win at Dundee United, he added: "We went there and did exceptionally well. We worked hard against a very decent side for we knew they would put us under a fair bit of pressure."
The real test for Killie though will come over the next few weeks, with a trip to Rangers next week followed by Celtic at home and then Inverness and Hearts, both away from Rugby Park.
