Killie's midweek concern

Jimmy Calderwood admits that Kilmarnock could do without Tuesday's clash with Hamilton, as he tries to get his ideas across.

After seeing his side slip to a 1-0 defeat against his former club Aberdeen on Saturday - a result that leaves them one point off the bottom - Calderwood admits there is still plenty of work to do.

But Kilmarnock are back in action again in midweek, when they travel to face Accies, when the manager would prefer to be able to work on things on the training ground.

Calderwood said: "I think we can take a lot of positives from the performance against Aberdeen but we have to start getting results quickly.

"It has been very difficult because of these midweek games. We have a game on Tuesday again so we can't do too much on the training park.

"It isn't going to be easy but if the players keep playing and believing in it then hopefully we can get out of the situation we are in."
