Morgan not bitter

Alan Morgan says he thinks he is a victim of the cautious approach being adopted by Kilmarnock boss Jim Jefferies.

The utility star took up the loan deal offered by St Johnstone after falling out of favour at Rugby Park, but he says there is no bitterness and he was merely a victim of circumstances.

Morgan said: "Killie suffered a lot of injuries last season and the gaffer wasn't going to be caught short this year so he brought in players to make sure that wouldn't happen again.

"I wasn't getting a game after injuries at critical times and I'm one of the casualties. It's early but there could be a permanent move to Perth."
