Spanish giants Barcelona are set to launch a shock move to bring in Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero to bolster their attack.
It is understood that Tito Villanova is looking to add some more goals to Catalan side and the Argentine has a proven track record in La Liga.
The former Atletico Madrid striker netted 94 goals during his time at the Vicente Calderon, before securing a move to the English champions.
Aguero lit the Premier League up during his first season, scoring 30 goals and grabbing the last minute winner against QPR on the final day of last season to ensure the title went to the Eithad Stadium.
Villanova is said to be unhappy with both David Villa and Alexis Sanchez, who haven't been able to perform at the level required at the Nou Camp this term.
Lionel Messi is the godfather to Aguero's son, and the relationship between the two players could be a deciding factor should the move come to fruition.
