Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos insists that his side were left 'wounded' after a shock 1-0 loss to struggling Granada.
The 26-year-old was handed the captain's armband in the absence of Iker Casillas when Madrid travelled to Los Carmenes, but a Cristiano Ronaldo own goal was enough to hand the three points to Granada.
Jose Mourinho's side dominated large periods of the game and could have equalised through Karim Benzema who fired wide with almost an open goal but it seemed it would not to have been their night.
The La Liga champions remain 15 points behind leaders Barcelona and that gap could be extended to 18 if the Blaugrana beat Valencia on Sunday.
"All Madridistas are feeling wounded today, above all the players," Ramos wrote on Twitter.
"But we are not going to give up on any competition, we will keep on going, for our badge and for our fans. Hala Madrid!"
