Marouane Chamakh has said if he returns to France he will only join Bordeaux as he prepares for a make-or-break season with Arsenal.
The Moroccan striker had to watch from the bench again on Saturday in the Gunners 3-3 draw with Fulham as he continues to struggle to force his way into Arsene Wenger's starting XI.
After Robin van Persie left to join Manchester United in the summer Chamakh thought he might get more first team opportunities, but the arrivals of Olivier Giroud and Lukas Podolski have pushed him out into the cold again.
As a result of his lack of game time Chamakh has admitted he could look to leave the Emirates Stadium next year in order to get more action.
Former club Bordeaux are thought to be the front runners for his signature and the 28-year-old admits that if things don't work out with Arsenal he may return to Les Girondins.
Chamakh said: "I think I can bring something to the team but I have to make a decision in the summer. If I return to France, it will only be for Bordeaux."
