Lyon gave their Champions League hopes a massive boost with a last-gasp win over champions Montpellier on Friday night.
Lisandro Lopez had put Les Gones in front on 26 minutes at the Stade de la Mosson with a powerful header from Clement Grenier's cross, only for the hosts to hit back through Younes Belhanda five minutes before half-time.
La Paillade had chances to go in front in the second half with Remy Cabella and Gaetan Charbonnier missing good opportunities before the former saw an effort come back off the post with just two minutes to go.
Lyon made Montpellier pay for their wastefulness in front of goal as Grenier smashed home a volley from a corner three minutes into injury time.
Lyon climbed up to second with the win, a point clear of Marseille in third and five clear of St Etienne and Nice in fourth and fifth respectively, while Montpellier are now in seventh, five points behind Lille in sixth.
