Leeds boss Simon Grayson says he cannot wait to return to training with the side next week as he prepares for his first full season.
Last season's disappointment is now a distant memory and Grayson is looking forward to the players' return on July 2nd which is followed quickly by a match at York.
"I'm excited about it," Grayson told the Yorkshire Post. "There's not long to go between the lads coming back and getting straight in the game at York.
"We've got two games in Ireland as well straight after that which will give our fan base in the north and the south chance to see that.
"Pre-season is about getting fit, bonding and unity. I don't want to be away too long, but this is perfect."
