Byram back in mix for Blues test

Last Updated: Fri, 18 Oct 2013 12:15

Sam Byram could be one of several changes to the Leeds side to face Birmingham on Sunday.

Defender Byram has struggled for match sharpness since returning from a long-term hip injury and has made only three appearances this season. He was an unused substitute in the defeat at Derby prior to the international break.

Midfielder Luke Murphy and striker Luke Varney are hoping to return to the side after being left out of the last two matches, while skipper Rudy Austin has returned unscathed from international duty with Jamaica.

Leeds have lost five of their last seven league games during their recent slide down the Sky Bet Championship table.
