Freedman set to leave Eagles

LeedsVeteran forward Dougie Freedman is searching for a new club after being told that he has no future at Crystal Palace.

The well-travelled Scot had a testimonial in midweek against Fulham but it appears he has played his last game for Palace.

Freedman has revealed he has been informed by Eagles boss Neil Warnock that he is not involved in his plans for the upcoming campaign.

He said: "I've spoken to Neil and he has told me that I won't feature in any squads next season.

"So, I'm actively seeking the right move - but if it's not right I won't. I'm in no rush."

The 34-year-old marksman spent some of last season on loan at League One side Leeds United where he scored five goals in 11 games.

Freedman has previously said he would be keen on a full-time move to Elland Road.
