Liverpool keeper David Martin has extended his loan at Leeds United for another ten days.

The 24-year-old has only appeared for the Whites once and that was in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy win over Accrington Stanley but he is a regular on the bench for Leeds and has ten unused sub appearances to his name.

He will remain back up to Casper Ankergren at Elland Road as number one Shane Higgs remains sidelined with a thigh injury which has kept him out for almost all the season.

Meanwhile, Leeds have cancelled David Prutton's contract by mutual consent so he can join Colchester on a full time basis.
