Leicester midfielder Neil Danns has joined Bristol City on a one-month loan deal.

The 29-year-old has played just 24 minutes of npower Championship football, and made two Capital One Cup appearances, this season for the Foxes and has spoken of his need for first-team football.

Bristol boss Derek McInnes said: "I'm very pleased to be able to bring Neil to the club. He's hungry and determined to do well.

"He's a tenacious midfielder who brings experience and quality to our squad. Neil is desperate to play games for us, he brings another level of quality to our squad he can't wait to get going."

Danns joined the Foxes from Crystal Palace last summer having played over 100 times for the club since a £600,000 move from Birmingham in January 2008.
