Leicester are lining up a loan move for Ipswich's Republic of Ireland defender Alex Bruce.

Bruce has only made one appearance for Roy Keane's side over the last two months ironically against Leicester.

The 25-year-old, who watched the Foxes' goalless draw with Newcastle at the weekend, has agreed terms with the club and is expected to sign until the end of the season.

Bruce has played twice for the Republic Of Ireland making his debut in 2007 against Ecuador.
