Dickov has sole target

Paul Dickov says he returned to Leicester because he feels they can bounce straight back into the Championship.

The Scottish striker completed his return to the Foxes on Thursday, turning down the chance of Championship football with Blackpool to move to the Walkers Stadium.

Dickov has high hopes for the Leicester squad under Nigel Pearson and feels he can play a part in bringing success back to the club.

The striker told the Leicester Mercury: "It's great to be back here and there is only one target, to get the club back up to where it belongs, which is certainly not in this division, and I want to help them do it.

"I believe I can do a job here and, after talking with the manager, I know there is a lot of belief here that it can be done and I am really looking forward to the new season."
