Foxes boss bemoans 'unfair' cup loss

LeicesterNigel Pearson felt his Leicester side did not get what it deserved after Wednesday's 3-2 Carling Cup defeat at Premier League Fulham.

The Foxes came from behind to score two quick goals through Paul Dickov and Andy King early in the second half as they looked to pull off a second round shock at Craven Cottage. However Fulham stormed back with two goals in the final 10 minutes to put Roy Hodgson's side through.

"Maybe the result was a bit unfair but after all that's life," said Pearson.

"We should have had a penalty in the first half and then we were done by an own goal and there was another deflection right at the end as well.

"But I'm happy that we gave it a good go and I'm not going to moan too much."
