Leicester boss Nigel Pearson has moved to add to his squad and signed defender Alex Bruce until the end of the season from Ipswich.

The 25-year-old has signed on loan until the end of the season after finding it hard to hold down a place at Portman Road under Roy Keane.

Bruce, who has twice been called into the Republic of Ireland side, the most recent coming against Poland in November 2008, will go straight into the Foxes squad for the clash with Blackpool on Saturday.
