Leicester boss Ian Holloway has moved to land keeper Ben Alnwick from Spurs on loan until the end of the season.

The Foxes chief will continue to strengthen his squad as much as he can during the transfer window and Alnwick is one he has had his eye on for a while.

Holloway told the Foxes' official website: "Ben's a very good up-and-coming goalkeeper. We've been keeping an eye on his progress for some time and I'm delighted to bring him here."

Alnwick added: "It's great to be here. I just want to play games now and help Leicester City up the table. Who knows what will happen after that."
