Leeds boss Simon Grayson says he hopes to keep Max Gradel for as long as possible amid rumours Leicester are set to recall him.
Nigel Pearson's Foxes had been flying along in the Championship but two hefty defeats in their last two outings have seen them drop from the play-off places and there is now talk of an early return for Gradel who has been outstanding for Leeds.
Grayson obviously hopes that is not going to happen and he told the Yorkshire Post: "I've not heard anything along those lines, although that can obviously change with a phone call from Leicester.
"I'm hopeful that Leicester won't do that, but if they did then we'd have to accept it when it came along because he's not our player and he's been very good. Hopefully it's not going to be the case."
