Leicester midfielder Dean Hammond says team spirit at the club is "fantastic" as the Foxes continue to gear up for the Premier League.
Nigel Pearson's side are preparing for a return to the top flight after winning the Championship in May and Hammond says everyone at the King Power Stadium is looking forward to the new challenge.
Pearson has been busy in the transfer market this summer, signing defender Matthew Upson, winger Marc Albrighton, goalkeeper Ben Hamer and splashing a club-record £8m on striker Leonardo Ulloa.
Hammond says the new boys have settled in straight away and added to the great spirit at the club.
"They were a part of the group as soon as they walked through the door," he said. "We have got a great bunch of lads here and the team spirit is fantastic.
"Anyone who comes in is part of the group straight away. They are welcomed with open arms and we look forward to working with them."
Hammond says Pearson's instructions are clear ahead of the new season, as he added in the Leicester Mercury: "[We are told to] just try to improve yourself, work as a team, keep that morale that we have together, and just continue it through the whole season.
"We are all working so hard and want to be ready for the Premier League."
