Leicester City striker DJ Campbell is hoping he can make his loan move to Blackpool a permanent one at the end of the season.

The striker has been on loan at Derby this season but he switched back to Blackpool before the transfer window shut on Monday and he has not ruled out making the switch to the seaside a permanent one come the summer.

He said: "We've been trying to do this since I left and I'm delighted it's happened now.

"I know it's only a loan until the end of the season but, fingers crossed, you never know what might happen in the summer."
