Leicester City boss Nigel Pearson welcomes back Max Gradel to his squad for the FA Cup clash at Cardiff.

Gradel has been at Leeds, who would like to land him on a permanent deal, but that loan has ended and unless a full-time move can be done he will remain a Leicester player.

Pearson said he was happy to have Gradel back in his squad ahead of the trip to Cardiff City for the fourth-round tie.

He told the Mercury: "He hasn't been playing. There seems to be this misconception that he has been playing every week, but he has been on the bench.

"I am pleased to have him back, if I am honest. I like him and I think he has potential.''
