Millwall midfielder Josh Wright has signed for Leyton Orient on an emergency-loan deal, the player has confirmed via his Twitter account.
The 24-year-old former Scunthorpe man will join up with his new team in time for their Sky Bet League One clash at Swindon and could feature should O's boss Russell Slade call him up.
Having only featured twice so far this season for the Lions, Wright was keen to play more regularly and he expressed his delight at the move which will keep him at Brisbane Road until January.
"Very pleased to announce I have joined Leyton Orient on loan until January 2. Looking forward to hopefully getting some game time," the midfielder announced on Twitter.
"Will hope to my play my part in helping the team in staying up the top of the table".
Orient boss Slade was equally optimistic about the move and Wright's potential impact on his title-chasing side.
"Josh will bolster the squad and after the loss of Frankie Sutherland, it's an area that needs strengthening," the former Yeovil boss told the club's official website.
"He's got good experience at this level and in the Championship and is a very technical player with plenty of ability."
The new arrival will wear the number 24 shirt during his stay at Brisbane Road.
