Liverpool midfielder Joe Allen wants the Reds to finish the season on a high following their Europa League exit.
The Reds only have Premier League football left this season after they were knocked out of Europe by Zenit St Petersburg on Thursday.
Brendan Rodgers' side won 3-1 at Anfield on Thursday night but went out on the away-goals rule after the Russian outfit's 2-0 victory in the first leg.
Allen, who scored one of the goals in the win, says they must try and be positive and aim to finish the season as high as possible in the table, with an outside chance of making it into the top four as they trail Spurs by nine points with 11 games to go.
"We approach every game between now and the end of the season to try and get as many points as we can and get ourselves as high a position in the table as we can," the Welshman said.
"There might not be a trophy to play for but there's plenty for us as a football club to play for and we'll do that."
