Benitez and Parry kiss and make up

LiverpoolReds boss Rafael Benitez and chief executive Rick Parry have held clear the air talks and promised to 'move forward together'.

The pair have had a strained relationship over the past few months to say the least and there has been something of a fall out following the so far failed attempts to sign Gareth Barry from Aston Villa.

Benitez had accused the club, and in so doing Parry, of being slow when it came to moves in the transfer market but the pair have now agreed to try and move forward.

Benitez said: "Talks have taken place. It was a positive discussion and we will now move forward together."

Parry added: "I can confirm that we had a friendly and positive meeting and we're moving forward."
