Kenny Dalglish must decide between Daniel Agger and Jamie Carragher to see who partners Martin Skrtel against Everton.

Agger came on as a substitute in the win over Blackburn after recovering from a rib injury, Carragher is the most likely to step aside if Agger starts but he may have to be content with a place on the bench.

Keeper Jose Reina remains out as he serves the final match of a three-game ban and Alexander Doni is suspended for the match after being sent off at Ewood Park, an appeal against his sending off failed on Thursday.

Liverpool recalled Peter Gulacsi from his loan spell at Hull to ease their goalkeeping crisis although Kenny Dalglish has also backed third-choice keeper Brad Jones who claims he will be focused and ready if he runs out at Wembley on Saturday.

Up front Craig Bellamy, Luis Suarez and Andy Carroll are fighting for two places, after netting the winner against Blackburn, Carroll is pushing hard for a start and then Dalglish has the small matter of his midfield to sort out.

Steven Gerrard is certain to return after being rested in midweek but who gets the nod alongside him will be decided on the day by Dalglish.
