Carra bemused at Reds' good start shock

LiverpoolJamie Carragher is bemused at the number of people who are expressing surprise at Liverpool's impressive start to the season.

The former England international is delighted to see Rafa Benitez's men sitting joint top of the Premier League with Chelsea on 17 points after seven matches. However, Carragher cannot understand why observers are discussing it at great length because he claims Liverpool are in a rightful position, not a shock one.

"People should stop saying we've made a great start, though. I'm thinking, 'We've only played seven games and we're Liverpool," he told Liverpoolfc.tv.

"Shouldn't we be up there? Am I missing something? We're not Hull.

"If we're still up there in March we can talk about it, until then focus on doing our best in every game. Actions speak louder than words."
