Valencia full-back Aly Cissokho claims he is ready to join Liverpool but the two clubs are yet to reach an agreement for the transfer.
The France international has revealed that he is happy with what Liverpool have put on the table for him to move to Anfield this summer, but it appears any deal will only take place if the Reds can agree a fee with the Spanish Primera Division outfit.
Valencia have already offloaded Roberto Soldado to Tottenham this summer as they attempt to ease their financial problems at the Mestalla.
And as they look to balance the books further, they would be willing to sell Cissokho but only if a club meets their valuation, while it is being reported that Liverpool want to sign him on a season-long loan with a view to a permanent transfer.
Cissokho said: "I expect to know more later this week.
"If nothing happens this week, it probably means that I will not be going to Liverpool.
"The conditions of the transfer are the problem. Liverpool prefer a loan deal with an option to buy, while Valencia want to sell straight away."
