Liverpool are the preferred choice for Lazio defender Mobido Diakite and he is looking to move on in June.
The France-born player appears to be out of favour in Rome and has only featured once this season, with his present contract coming to an end in the summer when he will be available on a free transfer.
There is a possibility that he could be prised away from the Italian Serie A side on the last day of the transfer window, although that looks to be a forlorn wish on his part, but he has set his heart on a move to Anfield eventually.
"Liverpool are our first choice for June, but there is no hurry," agent Ulisse Savini told Sky Italia. "We'll see in the next few days, however, it would be very difficult to say 'no' to a club like that."
