Genoa full back Mario Sampirisi is a target for Liverpool but Chelsea and Manchester United are also watching the 19-year-old.

The former Milan youth player failed to make the grade for AC Milan but has shone for Genoa after making his league debut back in January for Genoa and that has alerted Brendan Rodgers to his possible availability.

His performances have now attracted the attention of some major clubs with Liverpool said to be one of them and they, along with both Chelsea and Manchester United, had scouts watching him in action against AC Milan on Saturday.
