Liverpool will have to move quickly if they are to resurrect their interest in Tom Ince after Blackpool agreed a deal with Cardiff.
Bluebirds boss Malky Mackay is looking to land his first signing of the summer and Ince would be a great acquisition for the newly-promoted club but, with some of the Premier League big guns still linked, the deal is by no means done.
Liverpool have long been linked with their former player but they refused to meet the £6m asking price back in January and if they are to land him now they would have to pay more so Brendan Rodgers may miss out.
Tottenham have also been credited with an interest and they could comfortably afford the £8m fee but it's thought their interest has cooled recently. Newcastle United are also believed to be interested in a move for the youngster.
