Pep Guardiola is planning a £40million move for Liverpool's Luis Suarez when he takes charge of Bayern Munich in the summer.

Guardiola has been confirmed as the German giants' next manager and the Spaniard will make a move for Suarez in the summer, according to reports in the Daily Mirror.

The Uruguay international has never suggested he has any desire to leave Anfield but Suarez could be tempted to join Guardiola at Bayern in the summer, especially if Liverpool fail to secure Champions League football.

The former Barcelona boss has been promised a large transfer fund by the Bundesliga outfit and Bayern hope to convince Liverpool to cash in on their star man with a £40million bid.
