Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson believes his game has come on since the arrival of manager Brendan Rodgers.
Having been brought to Anfield from Sunderland by Kenny Dalglish, Henderson made a relatively slow start to life on Merseyside after signing for the Reds in a deal believed to be worth in the region of just under £20m in 2011.
However, the 23-year-old has started to show some of the form that made his name at the Stadium of Light, as he has helped Liverpool secure three wins from their first three Premier League outings this term.
Henderson has been pleased with his form so far this season and feels Rodgers has been a key factor in helping him improve his displays.
The England international said: "I feel as though I've progressed over the last year or two.
"The manager has been brilliant with me on a personal level, and with everybody else here.
"I've improved since he's come to the club and he's helped me to do that."
