Roma are the latest club to show an interest in Liverpool striker Luis Suarez and they could make a move in the summer.

The Uruguayan has been a success on the field over the past 14 months but has had more than his fair share of problems off it and that has led to speculation that he could be allowed to move in the summer if the right offer were to come in for him.

Money bags Paris Saint Germain were thought to be keen on landing the striker but they have now been joined by Roma, whose president Thomas Di Benedetto has a minority holding in Liverpool's owners, Fenway Sports Group.

Roma are ready to make an offer of around £20m for the player and they remain confident that will land their target, Roma's sporting director Walter Sabatini said recently that they were in for "an important player of great quality, of which we are near".

That player may well turn out to be Suarez.
