New Liverpool signing Iago Aspas insists it was an easy decision to join the Reds as opposed to other interested parties.
The 25-year-old has become Brendan Rodgers' third summer signing after Kolo Toure agreed to join while Luis Alberto completed his move at the weekend.
Liverpool are reported to have paid £7.7m for a player who scored 12 goals for struggling Celta Vigo last season and he says when he heard of Liverpool's interest, they were always going to be his first choice.
"It wasn't a tough decision at all. I'm really happy to have come to a big club like this one," he admitted.
"Having weighed up all my options for this window, a massive club like Liverpool was always my first choice.
"I've not had the chance to talk with the manager at any length just yet but I think that good players can slot into any role and not just one set position," Aspas told liverpoolfc.com.
"I am a quick and skilful player. Together we will achieve a lot of success."
