Reds eye Ince return

Liverpool are reportedly considering making a £5m move to bring Tom Ince back to Anfield from Blackpool in the New Year.

Ince was allowed to leave the club back in August 2011 on a free transfer as he could not see a path into the first-team, but since his departure he has come on in leaps and bounds.

The England Under-21 star is now attracting interest from a number of clubs and, to compound Liverpool's error in allowing him to leave for nothing, arch rivals Manchester United are also thought to be considering a bid.

It would not reflect on Brendan Rodgers as Ince was allowed to leave before his time at the club and the Reds would actually receive a cut of the fee as negotiated in the deal when he left Anfield in the first place.
