Liverpool are considering a late move for Wesley Sneijder as the Dutchman weighs up a January move to Galatasaray.
The 28-year-old midfielder is set to leave Inter Milan before the close of the transfer window and Galatasaray are in the box seat after agreeing a fee in the region of 10million euros.
Sneijder now has a decision to make and reports claim he is stalling on the move in the hope that a Premier League club will come in and match the Turkish side's offer.
"I'm fine. It is a big decision I have to take, so I don't think it will be made by Monday," said Sneijder. "There are still two weeks to go before the end of the transfer window, so there is time. I am relaxed and I'm considering my options."
Reports in the press claim that Liverpool are now ready to offer the £8.2million that Inter are after, while there is also interest from Tottenham, Manchester United, Arsenal and Manchester City.
Sneijder's wages could be a problem though as he is reported to earn £5million a season at Inter and is refusing to take a pay cut.
