Liverpool insist they have not been approached by Barcelona for the services of keeper Pepe Reina, despite reports in Spain.
Media reports in Spain claim that the Catalan giants are poised to sign Reina for around £8.4m on a two-year deal as they look to replace Victor Valdes, who has declared his intention to move away from the Nou Camp.
Reds officials insist there has been no contact between the clubs, though, with boss Brendan Rodgers insisting that the 30-year-old, who started his career at Barcelona before moving on to Villarreal, was not for sale and would continue as his number one keeper at Anfield next season.
