Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers reportedly hopes to land Ajax duo Christian Eriksen and Toby Alderweireld and Chelsea's Ryan Bertrand.
Rodgers has already signed four players this summer, with Iago Aspas, Simon Mignolet, Kolo Toure and Luis Alberto all joining the Reds ahead of the new season.
However, the boss has admitted he still wants more additions, with at least one defender and an attacking midfielder top of his shopping list.
Eriksen has been a long-term Liverpool target and the talented Netherlands international could be lured to Anfield should a bid in the region of £15-20million be accepted.
Roma are also keen, though, and the 21-year-old has been warned off moving to the Premier League by Ajax coach Frank de Boer, who has said the Reds style of play might not suit him.
Centre-back Alderweireld, meanwhile, is thought to be available for around £7million and he is keen on a move away with just a year left on his Ajax contract. Norwich City recently had a bid accepted for him but the player rejected the chance to make the switch to Carrow Road and is believed to be holding out for a better offer.
Finally, Chelsea left-back Bertrand has also emerged as a Rodgers target but the Blues rate the England man highly and are unlikely to allow him to leave Stamford Bridge unless he is part of a huge deal involving Luis Suarez moving in the opposite direction.
Chelsea are among several clubs interested in the Uruguay star but Liverpool are insisting they do not want to sell the striker despite his very public announcements that he wants to join a club playing in the Champions League.
