Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers insists his side will not take Mansfield lightly ahead of their FA Cup third round meeting on Sunday.

The Premier League outfit travel to Mansfield on Sunday and Rodgers believes his players cannot allow their concentration to slip if they are to avoid being on the wrong end of a cup upset.

"Our preparation's been exactly the same as it would be if we were playing Manchester United. Our focus is to go there and win, and that's the aim," he told ESPN.

"It's a great draw for Mansfield. It's part of the real romance of the tournament. It's a tricky tie, and that's why the cameras are there, because they're hoping for an upset. For us, it's about being professional and doing our job. If we do that, we'll be fine."

Rodgers could hand new recruit Daniel Sturridge his debut at Mansfield on Sunday following his move from Chelsea, but defender Jose Enrique is out for six weeks with a hamstring problem.
