Liverpool have already started their summer building plans with the news that Milan Jovanovic has signed a pre-contract agreement.
The Serbian international will join from Standard Liege in the summer and his decision to join the Reds suggests that Rafa Benitez will continue in his role as manager beyond the summer.
The 29-year-old had been wanted by AC Milan and was said to be holding back signing anything with the Reds until he was convinced Benitez was staying.
But he has now signed a pre-contract agreement prior to a three-year deal, which would indicate Benitez is going nowhere.
The boss will be hoping Jovanovic can form a lethal partnership with Fernando Torres in the Liverpool frontline.
