Striker boost for Reds

Brendan Rodgers should be able to call on Daniel Sturridge for the clash with Spurs on Sunday after he shook off his injury

Sturridge has been out of the side with a thigh injury so his return will be a welcome boost to boss Brendan Rodgers, although it will give him a problem as to who to leave out after last week's thrashing of Wigan.

At the back, Martin Skrtel's knee injury will keep him out of the side, he may not have played had he been fit, so Jamie Carragher will partner Daniel Agger at centre half and have the job of stopping Gareth Bale.

The Reds are likely to be without Raheem Sterling for the clash as the young star is currently being rested after a busy season.
