Liverpool have not landed the services of Standard Liege striker Milan Jovanovic on a pre-contract agreement according to his agent.

It had been reported that the Serbian striker had signed a pre-contract agreement with the Reds prior to sealing a three and a half year deal at the club in the summer when his Liege deal runs out.

His agent Zoran Stojadinovic claims he has not signed for anyone and hinted that Spain maybe his destination, he said: "There are many possibilities.

"The situation will be resolved soon, but he has not signed for any club as yet.

"There is plenty of interest from Spain, but there are also a number of clubs from across Europe that remain keen."
