Luton boss Kevin Blackwell is delighted with the goalscoring start new striker Paul Peschisolido has made for the Hatters.

The striker blasted a double in the 4-1 weekend win over Norwegian club Algard and Hatters chief Blackwell says he is delighted at the striker's contribution.

Blackwell said: "I am absolutely delighted with Paul's performance. He was very good throughout.

"His second goal, in particular, was first class, and that is what his experience can bring to the club.

"He has that ability in front of goal. He has settled in well with the rest of the new lads, and I believe he will have a successful career with the club."
