Wolves have agreed a fee with Luton for right-back Kevin Foley who is set to join Wanderers in a deal that could rise to £1m.

The Republic of Ireland 'B' international was left out of the Hatters squad on Saturday after Mick McCarthy enquired about the player at the end of last week.

A fee has been agreed between the two clubs and the 22-year-old was at Molineux on Monday to undergo a medical before putting pen to paper on a three-year contract.

McCarthy said: "Kevin is a young, bright, attacking full-back who will give us added competition for places.

"He's hungry to do well and the sort of player who meets the club's aspirations."
