Kevin Blackwell will reportedly stand down as Luton manager next month as the League One club continues to struggle financially.
Reports suggest Blackwell, who guided the Hatters to an impressive 1-1 draw in the club's FA Cup third round tie against Liverpool just last weekend, will part company with the club after the home game against Bournemouth on February 9.
His assistant Sam Ellis and head coach John Carver are also said to be ready to resign from their positions.
Blackwell's resignation will add to Luton's problems and comes following the club's slip into administration with reports claiming his departure is because the manager agreed to sell key players without consulting the club's board.
David Edwards left the club yesterday for £625,000 for Wolves, while defender Chris Coyne completed a £350,000 switch to Colchester United.
These are just two first-team players to leave the club in the past few days while three other, so far unnamed, players are also being tipped to leave in the January transfer window.
