New striker signing Paul Peschisolido says he believes that Kevin Blackwell is the right man to get Luton promoted.

It is the second time in his career that the striker has teamed up with Blackwell after the pair were together at Sheffield United and he believes Luton have the right man in charge.

He told the club's website: "I have worked for Kevin in the past at Sheffield United and we got on very well. I liked what he did, he was very enthusiastic and I liked his philosophies on football.

"We were speaking over the summer and after I was released from Derby I spoke to a few clubs, but Kevin impressed me very much.

"It's a new challenge and I'm looking forward to it.

"Kevin is very enthusiastic and he wants to learn. He is not one of these managers who believes he knows everything, he is constantly out there trying to find new concepts and new ways to play."
