Ince to raid former club

Blackburn Rovers' boss Paul Ince is eyeing up a move for Macclesfield Town's former Manchester United trainee Nick Blackman.

Former Manchester United academy player Blackman made his League debut under Ince at Macclesfield but has not played this season after suffering a knee injury.

Ince, who began his managerial career at Moss Rose, brought Blackman to Macclesfield and is now looking to bring the youngster to Ewood Park.

Ince is believed to be eager to secure the 18-year-old player's services despite the fact Blackman could not make his debut for Rovers until the transfer window opens in January.
