Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero says he has not given up hope of claiming the Premier League crown this season.

The reigning champions, who you can back using your free bet, currently find themselves 12 points behind rivals Manchester United with just 11 games of the season remaining.

City's only realistic hope of claiming any silverware this term is in the FA Cup, as they prepare for a home encounter with Championship outfit Barnsley in the quarter-final of the competition.

However Aguero is adamant City will still push United all the way for the Premier League title, in the hope they can pip the Red Devils to the English crown for the second successive season.

He said: "Can we still win the title? I'd like to believe so.

"Let's take it step by step.

"Take the FA Cup, each victory means we are a step closer to winning the competition.

"It's about keeping focused and trusting in our game. That applies to all our remaining Premier League games too."
