Aguero set to face Hammers

Sergio Aguero has been released early from the Argentina squad and should now be available for Manchester City's trip to West Ham.

Argentina coach Alex Sabella has allowed the striker to return to City following the 3-1 win over Peru, which guaranteed top spot for Argentina in their World Cup qualification group, rather than retain him for Wednesday's qualifier against Uruguay.

Had Aguero featured for his nation on Wednesday he would have almost certainly missed Saturday's trip to West Ham, but boss Manuel Pellegrini will now be able to select the key forward.
