Blues linked with former target

Man CityMan City, Fulham, Blackburn and West Ham are all being linked with a raid on Palermo for Australia star Mark Bresciano.

Reports claim the Italians are set to allow the 28-year-old midfielder to move on this summer - 12 months after his proposed switch to Eastlands broke down over the structuring of payments.

Bresciano's versatility is a big attraction for his Premier League suitors given the fact he anywhere across midfield and also as a support striker.

The Melbourne-born star would cost in the region of £5m which would be no problem for the likes of City, the Cottagers, Rovers or the Hammers.
